Cabo Roig 8 am til about 2 pm, a lot of lovely fresh fruit and veg, serrano ham, breads, rotisserie chicken (about 9 euros) and potatoes. also has some clothes, leatherware and jewellery stalls too – it’s not just food. It’s not a massive market (just down one long street overlooking the sea) but nice to have a wander around – can’t remember the name of the road but it’s where Marinasol Restaurant is, opposite the Health Centre. This used to be the Campoamor market but it has relocated to Cabo Roig now. There’s a local bus service that goes around the urbanisations and just stops around the corner from the market
La Marina La Marina urbanisation, not La Marina village
San Javier
Friday Morning Catral There is a market in Catral on a Sunday and used to be Tuesday as well, but haven’t been that way for a few months. Think the road is called Camino del Hondo. If you take the road from Dolores to Catral and turn right at the flashing beacon, signposted for market and Catral airfield it is on the right
Crevillente El Gran Rastro
Daya Vieja
Dolores The market on Friday in Dolores is held in the avenida, which is the centre of town (avenida del Alcalde Jose Rodriguez) normally between 8am and 2pm. Mixture of clothes, veg stalls, household goods. Just street parking, but watch out for the locals!! as the one way street signs seem to be ignored!! Not sure about the Sunday market, there used to be one near the sports ground but I haven’t been so am not sure it’s still on
Pilar de la Horadada
Friday Evening
Los Montesinos It’s on from about 4 pm – but beware they start setting up at around 2ish, so don’t park on the street Santos Medicos. If you are standing on the road leading down to the Los Montesinos town hall, with the town square to your right, but before the church, take a left, and the market is all down that road.
It’s a nice market, not too big and not too many repetitions of stall-types
Pilar de la Horadada
Saturday Morning Almoradi
Crevillente El Gran Rastro
Moncayo Near Guardamar, turn left after the Lemon Tree market and situated at the back of the Procomobel furniture shop on the N332, it was closed for a while but re-opened some months ago and is very popular with many different nationalities visiting. It is open from 10am til 2pm. There are food stalls, household linens, carpets and rugs, plants, traditional home baked cakes, scones etc, fruit and veg stalls, footwear, computer advice, jewellery, clothing, card stalls, a DIY and key cutting service, personal readings by a medium and a mobility equipment outlet. There is also an increasing number of second hand stalls now which includes furniture, clothing and household items
